An alternative book jacket for the novel “To Kill A Mockingbird” features a charcoal illustration of a rabid dog accompanied with minimalist black and red typography. The rabid dog is mentioned many times throughout the novel and becomes a symbol for Tom Robinson and the struggles he encounters through Scout’s eyes.
