After using the woodblock press, I turned my images into prints by screen printing using different colors and opacities.
Working on these pine cone wreaths to give out during the holidays. Made this one for my mom last year and it was a hit! They are made with pine cones, cinnamon sticks and glitter balls.
Today I was working with a woodblock press. I used a few different blocks, some were lead and some were acrylic. I love learning about my graphic design history and seeing how newspapers, magazines and posters were made back in the day.
Recently I went to my favorite potter painting location called The Clay Bakers and tried out the different sponges they had to create some great textures. I absolutely love the way these came out.
This past Thursday my mother and I went to a cupcake decorating class at Michaels. It was actually really fun and delicious. I like to explore other artistic mediums, and working with icing definitely had its challenges. Here are a few of our creations.
Created a series of colored illustrations based on the word HAIRY using my new wacom tablet.
Screen printing some popsicles for a gig poster i'm designing. Neon and glow in the dark ink to make it extra Miami.
Block lettering is beautiful before they are even used. Excited to be playing with these in a few weeks! Will keep you posted
